We’ve Landed in Fort Lauderdale!

We’ve got big news to share:The Gathering Place is now open in Fort Lauderdale, Florida.

Starting fresh in a new city feels like the perfect next step. Fort Lauderdale has a creative, forward-thinking energy that’s hard to ignore. And it’s not just the sunshine and palm trees (though we’re definitely not mad at those). Florida has become one of the most exciting places for education. Families here have real choices. Our All Girls Microschool in Fort Lauderdale

Our Fort Lauderdale campus is a small, all girls microschool, and it’s already full of joy and momentum. We’ve organized the program into three age-based pods:

Pod 1: Girls ages 5 to 10
Pod 2: Girls ages 11 to 13
Pod 3: Girls ages 14 to 18

Each pod is thoughtfully designed to support girls in that season of life. We keep class sizes intentionally small so every student is seen, supported, and challenged.

Our model blends:

Personalized learning
Project-based exploration
Tech integration
Real-world, city-as-classroom experiences

Whether a girl wants to build an app, write a novel, earn a tech certification, or simply rediscover her love of learning, we create space for her to do it. The girls are thriving. The energy is beautiful. And yes, the snacks are still excellent.

The Gathering Place continues to operate as a fully approved MSDE homeschool umbrella. We walk with families across the state who want a more flexible and supportive way to educate their children.

Capitol Heights Is Still Full of Joy

Our original campus in Capitol Heights is still full of life, now with a new purpose.

The building is home to Intelligent Minds Early Childhood, or IMEC, a private early childhood program led by the incredible Ms. LaKisha. She’s one of those rare educators who blends warmth, structure, and deep care into every part of the day.

IMEC is:

Focused on early childhood growth and discovery
A place where little ones can explore, play, and thrive
