Mastery and Individual Growth
Guides help girls identify what they understand, practice what needs attention and take on a deeper challenge when they are ready. Feedback and revision are part of learning.
City as Classroom
Museums, businesses, nature, civic spaces and our wider community give girls opportunities to connect classroom ideas with real experiences and meaningful questions.
Passion Projects and Learning Labs
Girls research interests, design solutions, write, create and present their work. Projects develop critical thinking, planning, collaboration and a growing sense of ownership. For older learners, academic coaching and next-step planning help clarify goals. Dual enrollment, college credit and internship opportunities depend on the relevant provider, eligibility and current availability; families review these pathways with TGP.
How We See Progress
Portfolios show learning over time. Socratic discussions reveal understanding and give girls practice explaining their thinking. Mastery checks identify next steps, while exhibitions make room to share projects and research. Self-reflection and peer feedback help girls evaluate and revise their work. Families and guides discuss progress and the timing of formal assessments together.

Personalized Learning Experience
Our Learning Groups
Spark (5–7) builds early literacy, math and joyful learning habits. Discovery (8–10) strengthens core skills and independence. Evolve (11–13) develops deeper thinking, writing and confidence. Horizon (13+) supports academic goals, leadership and next steps. Pathway offers individualized work, targeted support and guide check-ins. Placement reflects readiness and each girl’s needs.
A Typical Day
Launch begins with reflection, discussion and goal setting. Core brings small-group literacy, math, science and social studies, with feedback, support and challenge. After lunch and reading, girls research, collaborate and create through project-based learning. Leadership pods practice conflict resolution, accountability and mentorship. City as Classroom connects learning to museums, civic spaces, parks and community businesses.
Skills for Learning and Life
SEAD—Social, Emotional & Academic Development—supports relationships, self-regulation and resilience. Guides coach planning, time management and reflection. Purposeful technology supports practice; writing, debate, hands-on work and presentations remain central. Portfolios, mastery checks and exhibitions help girls and families see growth.
