Nadine Smith brings 15 years of experience in education and school leadership to The Gathering Place, including six years as principal of Paul Laurence Dunbar High School in Washington, DC. Her work as an English teacher and school leader shaped a clear belief: girls thrive when they are known well, challenged thoughtfully and given room to use their voices.
As an educator and a mother, Nadine wanted a learning community where strong academics, meaningful relationships and joy could grow together. She founded The Gathering Place to make that vision part of everyday learning through small groups, individualized support and City as Classroom experiences.
