Welcome to The Gathering Place Micro School, where we believe in the transformative power of personalized, innovative education. After years as a teacher and principal, I saw firsthand how traditional schools often stifled curiosity, prioritized standardized testing over real learning, and failed to create safe, engaging spaces for all students—especially girls. When my own daughter experienced these challenges, I knew change was necessary. Inspired by education disruptors, I founded The Gathering Place to create a student-centered, adaptive learning environment where small class sizes, personalized instruction, and real-world experiences empower girls to thrive. Here, we focus on academic excellence, character development, and self-directed learning, preparing students not just for school, but for life.
